Van Buren Eagles hold contest for food pantry donations, women win

On Dec. 5, the Van Buren Eagles delivered 1,147 items to the food closet at First United Methodist Church of Belleville.
The competition between men and women within the club was from Oct. 1 to Nov. 30. The women won with 671 items and the men had 476. They all said they were overjoyed to donate the items to the pantry.
