Court Watching: Foley Thompson case adjourned until Nov. 28 at 34th District Court

Foley Griffin Thompson, 70, had his preliminary exam adjourned until Nov. 28 on a charge of operating while intoxicated causing severe injury, operating with high blood alcohol count, and driving while license suspended in Sumpter Township on Sept. 16.

Lapia Marie Cornelius, 29, waived her preliminary exam before 34th District Court Judge Tina Brooks Green on Nov. 14.
Judge Green bound her over on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon, reckless driving, and failure to stop at a property damage accident (attended vehicle) on March 16 in Van Buren Township.
She is free after posting bond of $5,000/10% and due at the Frank Murphy Hall of Justice in Detroit on Nov. 28.
Walter Lee Gordon, Jr.
Walter Lee Gordon, Jr., 50, waived his preliminary exam on charges of filing a false report of a felony and for filing a false report for an insurance claim on Aug. 24, 2017 in the City of Belleville.
Judge Green bound him over to the Frank Murphy Hall of Justice on Nov. 28 for an arraignment on the information. He was free after posting bond of $20,000/10%.
Jeffrey Michael Perkins
Jeffrey Michael Perkins, 50, waived his preliminary exam on a charge of operating while intoxicated-3rd on Oct. 26 in Van Buren Township. He is free after posting bond of $2,500/10%.
Judge Green bound him over to circuit court at the Frank Murphy Hall of Justice where he is due Nov. 28 for an arraignment on the information.
