BHS Athletics Hall of Fame celebrates two years

On Feb. 11, during half time at the Belleville High School basketball game, the BHS Athletic Department celebrated both the 2020 and 2021 inductees into the Belleville Athletics Hall of Fame. Tom Fielder accepted on behalf of Billy Ashley (for baseball, 1986-88, wrestling, 1986-87, football, 1987), Jill Ferris (Pence) (softball, 1982-84, diving, 1982-83), David Chudzinski, (soccer 2000-2003, football 2001-2002, wrestling 1999-2001, track 2000-2003), David Beckley on behalf of the 1990 State Runner-Up Wrestling Team, and Mike Colletta (athletic director, 1983-2007). Not present were Dave Medley (track and cross-country coach, 1976-2006) and Billy Ashley.
