On Saturday, June 13, from 5-7 p.m. the Lower Huron Metropark will hold a grand opening of its new Off-Leash Dog Area.
The celebration will kick off with brief remarks from Metroparks leadership and project partners, followed by a celebratory tennis ball drop your pup won’t want to miss.
After the ceremony, guests are invited to stick around for an evening packed with tail-wagging fun. Enjoy a Make & Take craft station, photo booth, pup cups, and plenty of room for your dog to run, play, and socialize in the new off-leash area.
There will also be bonus activities, including dog pools, an agility course, and bubbles for extra zoomies and smiles.
Humans are invited to grab a bite from a food truck or a refreshing mocktail while the pups play. Free mocktails are available for the first 100 guests.
