Wayne County Community College will present classes in Robotics 4 Youth this summer at its Ted Scott Campus, 9555 Haggerty Rd., Van Buren Township.
Classes for those aged 9 to 12 will explore the world of robotics and coding through the use of the LEGO Education SIK. Through this interactive learning experience, students will design, build and program their own robots using the LEGO app.
CRN: 64375, Course # YCLS-5252 will be on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., June 1-22. Fee is $75.
CRN: 64376, Course # YCLS-5252 will be on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon, July 6-Aug. 3. Fee is $75.
Classes for ages 9-14 will expand the student’s knowledge of robotics through critical thinking, problem solving, and learning computer programming concepts using python programming language.
CRN: 64422, Course #YCLS-5232 will be on Saturdays from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., July 6-Aug. 3. Fee is $50.
