The 22nd-annual Quilt Exhibit at the Belleville Area Museum, sponsored by the Western Wayne County Quilt Guild, runs through March 28.
The museum is hosting more than 150 quilts, many of which are for sale. Hand-made, machine-quilted, finished, and unfinished quilts are on display.
In addition, there is a raffle basket filled with sewing items for visitors who vote for their favorite quilts. A ribbon will be awarded to the winning quilter at the end of the show.
There also will be Bed Turnings every Saturday and quilt guides on hand to answer questions and give quick sewing lessons. Bed Turners are Marjorie Fromm, Cheryl Parent, and Janet Steele.
The museum, at 405 Main Street in downtown Belleville, is across from the Bayou Grill. Museum Quilt Show admission is $3. The museum is open 3-7 p.m. on Tuesdays and noon-4 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays through Fridays.
For more information call (734) 697-1944 or email: [email protected]. Quilt show representatives are Bob Green and Roxann Baker.
