At its regular meeting Jan. 9, the Van Buren Township Local Development Finance Authority reelected officers for 2018.
Michael Dotson is chairperson, Doug Peters vice-chairperson, and John Delaney, corresponding secretary.
Also on the LDFA are Leonard Armstrong, Chuck Covington, James Williams, Shareen Barker, Danylo Dobriansky, and VBT Supervisor Kevin McNamara. There are two vacancies.
The meetings for the year were set for: Jan. 9, March 14, May 8, July 10, Sept. 11 and Nov. 14. All the meetings are at 2 p.m. on the second Tuesdays of every other month, except for March and November, which are on Wednesdays.
Ron Akers, director of planning and economic development, announced that the new, large electronic sign on I-275 at Grace Lake is up and running. The township will be working with Grace Lake to put a community message on the sign.
Akers said the new building at Grace Lake is in the final stages of engineering approval.
