Correction: Matt Oddy also voted no on motion to accept proposal

At the Dec. 13 meeting of the Sumpter Township Board of Trustees, Trustee Matt Oddy complained that the Independent headline and story reporting the Nov. 22 Sumpter meeting was wrong. He said the vote was 5-2, not 6-1 as reported.
The approved minutes of that meeting show that both Trustees Peggy Morgan and Oddy voted against the Hoppe Design program and agreement to prepare a design and master plan for the 81.92-acre Banotai Park/Sherwood Pond project at a cost of $28,000. We regret the error.
