Jarell Deonte-Irell-Fitzjeri Seuell, 31, of Ypsilanti and formerly of Sumpter Township, was arraigned by 34th District Court Judge Teresa Patton in custody on Jan. 21 on 11 bench warrants.
Five charges were out of Van Buren Township in 2023 and 2025, five out of Belleville from 2023, and one out of Sumpter Township in 2025. The bench warrants were for contempt of court for failures to appear for court dates on those charges.
Charges are:
• Driving while license suspended, Jan. 9, 2025. Bond set at $1,000/10%. Remote pretrial Feb. 12;
• Improper use of a handicap permit, Nov. 23, 2023, Van Buren Township. Personal bond is $500. Remote pretrial Feb. 26;
• Driving while license suspended, Nov. 23, 2023, Van Buren Township. Personal bond of $500. Remote pretrial Feb. 26;
• Driving while license suspended, July 17, 2025, Van Buren Township. Bond $1,000/10%. Remote pretrial Feb. 26;
• Driving while license suspended, Sept. 18, 2025, Van Buren Township. Bond $1,000/10%. Remote pretrial Feb. 26;
• Registration or plate violation, Sept. 18, 2025, Van Buren Township. Personal bond $500. Remote pretrial Feb. 26;
• Driving while license suspended, March 26, 2023, Belleville. Bond is $1,000/10%. Pretrial conference in person before Chief Judge Brian Oakley on Feb. 3;
• Two counts of registration or plate violation on March 26, 2023, Belleville. Personal bond $500 each. Pretrial conference in person before Judge Oakley on Feb. 3;
• No insurance under the insurance code, March 26, 2023, Belleville. Personal bond $500. Pretrial conference in person before Judge Oakley on Feb. 3; and
• Disobeyed police officer directing traffic flow, March 26, 2023, Belleville. Bond $1,000/10%. Pretrial conference in person before Judge Oakley on Feb. 3.
He was in custody with Van Buren Township and the court told police to keep Seuell in custody until all his bonds were satisfied.
