Wayne County Parks will host a day of hobby-related fun for the entire family on Saturday, Aug. 13, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Crosswinds Marsh, located at 27600 Haggerty Road in Sumpter Township.
Hobby Day is all about trying something new. Whether you’re a die-hard hobby enthusiast or someone who just wants to try fishing for the first time, this program is for you.
Experts will be on hand to answer questions and help you get started in an exciting new hobby. Some of the activities include: chess, birding, astronomy, photography, hiking, kite-building, Lego-building, canoeing, fishing, and more. Fishing poles and bait will be provided.
This program is recommended for all ages. In the event of inclement weather, such as heavy storms and rain, the program will be cancelled. This event FREE to all participants.
