VBT sets special town hall meeting on Sept. 29

Although there was no mention of an upcoming special session as Tuesday (Sept. 20) night’s regular meeting of the Van Buren Township Board of Trustees ended at 8 p.m., by 8 a.m. the next morning, a special board meeting had been posted.
The hastily called town hall meeting will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 29, at Fire Station #2, 7981 Belleville Road, for a presentation on the public safety millage on the Nov. 8 ballot and audience input and questions.
