VBT Clerk Leon Wright announces he is now a ‘proud grandpapa’

At the end of the Oct. 1 meeting of the Van Buren Township Board of Trustees, Clerk Leon Wright announced that he is now a “proud grandpapa.”
He said the previous Friday, Sept. 27, his first grandchild was born and it’s a girl.
The baby’s parents are Leondre and Deshara Wright of Southfield. Their daughter is Deyonne Chanel Wright, who weighed five pounds, one ounce.
Grandparents are Janice and Leon Wright of Van Buren Township.
