At the end of a special closed-door meeting at 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9, the Sumpter Township Board of Trustees voted to extend the issue on disciplinary action for one week.
Another special meeting has been set for Friday, Feb. 16, at 1 p.m.
The closed session was announced as “Consider requested disciplinary action as recommended by Chief Luke as to Police Department Personnel.”
Police Chief Eric Luke offered no comment on the issue to the Independent.
