A special quilt was held up for all to see at the Nov. 27 meeting of the Sumpter Township Board of Trustees. Karen Mickens said the quilt was made by Senior Quilters who included the names of Sumpter Township residents who lost their lives while serving our country.
She said the quilt was to be given to Sumpter resident Leroy Paige and he can auction it off to earn funds for the Honor and Remember group of which he is a part.
