The City of Romulus has contracted with New Moon Visions Place Branding and Marketing to guide the City’s rebranding efforts.
The City is currently gathering data from the city leaders, stakeholders, residents and visitors. The information received will assist in the branding and marketing initiative to help boost the local economy.
The survey to give your views of the City of Romulus can be reached at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Romulus
The deadline to submit the survey is 5 p.m., July 17. Anyone who completes the survey will be entered into a drawing for gift cards from local merchants.
The City of Romulus underwent a Visioning Process in 2014 that identified four key initiatives to guide future operations: Grow the Local Economy, Improve Transportation Infrastructure, Expand Recreational Opportunities, and Enhance the Local Image and Brand. This project is the first step in the Image and Brand initiative.
“By holding a branding campaign, we can create a sense of community that will strengthen the appeal of the City, encouraging both people and businesses to locate and stay in Romulus,” said Romulus Mayor LeRoy D. Burcroff.
The scope of the branding campaign will include research and discovery of the city’s most essential and important features, analyzing and summarizing data, and developing a brand strategy including taglines and logos.
New Moon Visions has worked with a variety of cities and towns over the past 25 years for place-based branding and marketing including Fenton, Petoskey, Canton, and Milford.
If there are questions regarding the survey, call Tim Keyes, Economic Development Director for the City of Romulus, at 734-955-4537.
