Swift Charities and Swift Transportation of New Boston will sponsor its Second-Annual Christmas Dinner for Our Veterans on Sunday, Dec. 11, at the Belleville Moose Lodge 934, Sumpter at Harris roads.
Proceeds from the event will help fund Pets for Vets – Southeast Michigan.
The doors open at 12:30 p.m. and a buffet dinner will be served from 1 to 5 p.m. On the menu is turkey, ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potatoes, corn, green bean casserole rolls and desserts.
Entertainment starts at 1 p.m. There will be 50/50 drawings, silent auction, and
more. Help make this a special day for those who served.
The $10 donation includes dinner and soft drinks. Five dollar donations are accepted for children aged five through ten.
