League of Women Voters candidate forum for school board is Sept. 22

The eight candidates running for four seats on the Van Buren Public Schools Board of Education in the Nov. 8 election have been invited to take part in the 7 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 22, candidate forum at Belleville High School.
The forum is put on by the League of Women Voters of Northwest Wayne County and Belleville members of the league will help put on the event.
Members of the audience will be encouraged to write out questions for the candidates. The forum will be recorded and will be available on the website of the League of Women Voters, www.LWVnorthwestwayne.org shortly after the forum.
