Beginning Meditation Workshop
In another library offering, instructors Hugh Danville and Jim Whiteside of the Still Mountain Buddhist Meditation Center will lead students step by step through beginning insight meditation and related mindfulness practices.
During the six-week course, students will practice the skills necessary to guide their own meditation experience. Though the class is intended for participants with no previous meditation experience, continuing meditators who wish to review the basics may also benefit.
Participants must register in person at the library and pay the $20 course fee. Registration opens Sept. 12 and closes when the class is full.
