Gov. Whitmer cuts ribbon at Novi office of Our Next Energy, coming to VBT

Van Buren Township Supervisor Kevin McNamara joined Governor Gretchen Whitmer and others in a ribbon-cutting ceremony and tour on Oct. 20 at the new office in Novi for Our Next Energy. ONE plans a $1.6 billion battery manufacturing campus in Van Buren Township that is required to create 2,112 jobs. It was recently granted $236.6 million by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation.
