Four district library board seats up for election in November

Four, four-year terms on the Belleville Area District Library Board will be filled at the General Election Nov. 4.
Expiring are the terms currently held by Christina Brasil, Mary Jane Dawson, Elaine Gutierrez, and Joseph Monte.
Those residents of the city of Belleville and townships of Van Buren and Sumpter who wish to seek a seat on the library board must file an Affidavit of Identity and a nominating petition with Wayne County by 4 p.m., July 17.
A $100 nonrefundable fee may be filed instead of a petition.
