The Belleville Central Business Community will host a parade honoring area Boy and Girl Scouts during the annual Harvest Fest scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 12.
Janet Millard of the CBC said this is a themed parade reflecting a time of harvest. Participants, other than those in uniform, are asked to dress and decorate their entries appropriately.
Entries will be judged according to the following criteria with gift cards from the Twisted Rooster awarded to first place in each category:
1. Best harvest-themed entry
2. Best harvest-themed pet entry
3. Best corn stalk entry
4. Grand Marshal selection
The parade will stage in the Belleville High School main parking lot and will step off at 11 a.m. Parade entry forms are available by contacting Janet Millard at [email protected] or at the Belleville Area Chamber of Commerce. Call 697-7151 with any questions.
