Tbis is outrageous! One of these candidates is out blabbing to all that she has pulled the wool over the eyes of the school district. Yes, this former “retired” school employee believes she was wronged, and along with a pal, is filing suit against the taxpayers. What a shame the committee has destroyed the integrity of distinguished grad. This would be funny if it didn’t insult all those who’ve been honored in the past and DESERVED the honor.
God bless those who were nominated that really earned the honor!
big deal. Ex principal Mida is a small fish, and who cares. Let her have her “big” moment..perhaps she will move on. I am going to the ceremony just so I can honor the NHS kids, and to the legitimate nominees. Pay attention to them, and not to the other ridiculous hulaballoo about someone who doesn’t matter to any of us in the scheme of life. I think this is a tempest in a tea pot, and yes, whomever made the nomination and approved it should hide their face, but it is a small town, and people are loyal to friends, and ignore the facts. Again, big deal. Photo on wall, shake hands, give plaque and move on with it. Tired of hearing about it and about her threats.
When my kids were at Edgemont, there was always some drama with the principal. Let’s all be grateful that is all over with!
So who nominated her? What is their problem?
I never heard a bad word about any of these community volunteers.
