Derek Krueger of Belleville earned third place and a $1,000 check in the Class A Truck category of the National Truck Rodeo of the Medline fleet of tractor trailers at Mundelein, IL on Aug. 2.
To qualify for the national contest, drivers had to get first prize in one of the five regional contests, which brought an award of $1,500.
“In my 23 years of driving trucks, I’ve never had a job that I enjoyed as much as working for MedTrans. Every day I am responsible for delivering crucial medical supplies to our healthcare customer, who depend on us so they can take care of their patients,” Krueger said. “I am going to continue driving for MedTrans until I retire.”
