James Forrest Chapman, 55, of Van Buren Township, who was jailed for 183 days for a trespassing violation in VBT, plus violation of a court order, will be released for good behavior on Sunday, Aug. 16.
He was taken into custody March 17 and has been serving time in the Clare County Jail in Harrison, MI, after being sentenced at 34th District Court in Romulus.
Chapman’s attorney John Day has filed a motion with circuit court to appeal Chapman’s conviction. That motion will be heard Aug. 14.
