Mohamad Youssef-Ali Bakkar
Mohamad Youssef-Ali Bakkar, 73, of Canton was charged with furnishing tobacco to a minor on July 22 in the city of Belleville. At his arraignment/pretrial at 34th District Court on Aug. 21, he pled guilty to the charge. His attorney said he was ticketed and paid the ticket at once.
He told Chief Judge Judge Brian A. Oakley he sold tobacco to a 19 year old in the city of Belleville. He was sentenced to a six-month delayed sentence and the charge will be dismissed if there are no further problems and he pays the $300 fee levied.
