A Community Art Walk celebration to highlight the various art works currently in the Belleville area has been set for Saturday, Sept. 16, starting at the Fourth Street Square at 12:30 p.m.
The event is sponsored by Belleville City Councilman Ken Voigt and the Belleville Area Council for the Arts.
A docent-led tour of the Detroit Institute of Arts’ “Inside/Out” artworks in the city will be held at 1 and 3 p.m.
An illustrated map will be provided showing the locations of sculptures, Belleville Bass, Inside/Out art pieces and “Art in the Parking Lot” at Belleville High School, where students have painted their parking spots.
There will be live bands at the Fourth Street Square at 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. and 3 to 5 p.m.
