City of Belleville announces Scarecrow Contest winners

At the Nov. 21 meeting of the Belleville City Council, the following winners of the October Scarecrow Contest were announced:
• Adult Groups/Organizations — Belleville Area Council for the Arts
• Families/Individuals — Kent Jones
• Best Business Entry — Boneheads BBQ
• Youth Organizations — Rawsonville Elementary School
There were reportedly 29 scarecrows decorated and placed along Main Street this year for the month of October.
