Belleville High School Senior Jason Dytyniak of Van Buren Township won a $1,000 scholarship for his artworks during the April 22 student art show at BHS.
The Dytyniak family attended Saturday’s show: father John Dytyniak, brother Evan Dytyniak, and mother Michele Dytyniak, along with Jason.
Jason will use his scholarship at the Center for Creative Studies where he will be a student this fall. He said he would like to become an automotive designer. His winning display showed a variety of artworks, including a head made out of coins – some $30 worth.
The scholarship was presented by the Belleville Area Council for the Arts. Work from students grades K-12 was on display.
