BHS football team members honored by Detroit News rankings

This fall’s Belleville High School football team ended the season with a 12-1 final record.
The team was:
• KLAA East Division Champions
• KLAA League Champions
• MHSAA Division 1 District Champions (first in school history)
• MHSAA Division 1 Regional Champions (Final Four) (first in school history)

• Julian Barnett, senior, Detroit News Dream Team (defensive back)
• Damon Payne, sophomore, Detroit News First Team (offensive line)
• Jalen Hunt, senior, Detroit News First Team (defensive line)
• Andre Seldon, junior, Detroit News First Team (defensive back)
• Marvin Ham, senior, Detroit News Second Team (linebacker)
