Monday, Sept. 8, begins the new fall session for the Belleville Community Chorus, Inc.
Rehearsals are on Mondays at 7 p.m. at the Belleville United Methodist Church, 417 Charles St., Belleville.
If you like to sing, the chorus invites you to join them. The Belleville Community Chorus, with members from Belleville, Sumpter, Van Buren, and other surrounding communities, is open to all singers from late teen to 80 years plus and is always looking for new voices. Whether you are soprano, alto, tenor, bass, or not really sure, consider joining this fun and dynamic group of friends and neighbors.
If interested, come to the first rehearsal by 6:30 p.m. so that Director Sue Hiser can place your voice in the appropriate section.
The Community Chorus repertoire consists of a variety of choral music, intended to provide enrichment, education, and enjoyment for both their members and audiences in the surrounding communities.
The holiday concert, this year with a snowflakes and stars theme, is scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13 at the Belleville United Methodist Church.
