The Van Buren Eagles #3996 will present “First Ladies of the White House,” written by Ginger Bruder after gathering information from never-before-published historical documents in museums and libraries in surrounding states.
Bruder said of the First Ladies, “They may have lived in the shadows, but that doesn’t mean their lives were drama-free or boring. If you’re a history buff, you’ll love this!”
Local women will dress up and present new information on more than 20 First Ladies at the 8 p.m. show on Saturday, May 6, at the Eagles Hall, 9961 Beck Road, Van Buren Township.
The doors open at 5:30 p.m., with dinner of three meats and sides served from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the evening are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Tickets are available at the Van Buren Eagles.
For more information, call Ginger or Keith Bruder at (734) 461-2498.
