The public is invited to Wayne County Community College’s Western Campus at 7 p.m., Thursday, March 30, for a free concert in the “All about the Arts” series.
The campus is located at 9555 Haggerty Road north of I-94 in Van Buren Township.
Performing will be the Boogie Woogie Kid Trio, made up of Emma-Lee Aboukasm, Matthew Ball, and Gary Stevens. Admission is free and refreshments will be available. For more information call (734) 374-3232.
Award-winning vocalist Aboukasm teams with 3.7 million-views, YouTube piano sensation Matthew Ball, aka “The Boogie Woogie Kid,” for an evening of ballads, blues, boogie-woogie and jazz from the Swing Era. Gary Stevens will join them on drums.
