Kevin Robertson is fighting cancer and is going into his fourth chemotherapy treatment. He is not able to work due to the treatments for five months or longer.
A “Cancer Sucks” fund raiser for Roberston will be held Aug. 13 at Rawsonville Woods mobile home park in Sumpter Township. Proceeds will be used to pay for chemo treatments and expenses.
Activites include, but are not limited to: Saddle Rock Band, Elvis Presley performance, DJ, Belleville Karate Team demonstration, clown and face painting, craft show ($20 donation for 12×12 booth), car show ($10 donation and winner receives half of entry donation), 50/50 raffle sponsored by AFSCME Local 1862, and silent auction.
