The Huron Valley Conservation Association will be conducting a hunter safety field day on Sunday, July 31, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. beginning at the Romulus VFW and concluding at the Wayne County Raccoon Hunters Club in Romulus.
Students are required to pre-register at the Romulus VFW, 39270 W. Huron River Dr., on Saturday, July 16, between 12-3 p.m. (this is a new date) and complete an online hunter safety course before participating in the field day.
Class size is limited to 24 students. There is no cost to participate in the field day and lunch will be provided; however, there is a cost of approximately $25 for the online course, for which funding may be available from the Huron Valley Conservation Association.
