State Rep. Kristy Pagan, D-Canton, invites the public to an Environmental Town Hall Forum that she is hosting at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, May 19, in the Belleville High School Commons.
This will be an opportunity for people in the community to come together and discuss some key issues facing the Michigan Legislature in terms of environmental policy, she said.
“Most notably, we will be discussing legislation pertaining to pipeline safety, energy policy and contaminants polluting our waterways,” Rep. Pagan said, noting she will have some important guest panelists attending from several key environmental groups.
BHS is at 501 W. Columbia Ave. in Belleville. This event is free and open to the public.
Pagan represents the 21st District, serving Canton, Belleville, and Van Buren Township.
