The City of Romulus has set events for the coming months and is inviting area residents to take part.
The Farmer’s Market will be from noon to 6 p.m. on Wednesdays, June 17 to Oct. 14, at the Romulus Municipal Complex, 11111 Wayne Road, next to the court. Children are invited to join the free “Kid’s Club,” come to market each week, and earn a $2 coupon each month to spend at the market.

The Romulus Historical Society’s Annual Flea Market will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 20, at Romulus Historical Park, 11147 Hunt Street. To sell your items, cost is $20 per setup, furnish your own tables. Information: Cathy Morse (734) 941-6361.
The Sounds in Downtown free summer concert series starts Friday, June 12, in Romulus Historical Park, 11147 Hunt Street. The concerts will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on the second and fourth Fridays in June and July and every Friday in August.
