Pastor Bernie Travis of Liberty Gospel Church at 105 N. Liberty in the City of Belleville has a free cat for you.
Pastor Travis said someone left a cat in a cage at the front door of the church. Someone also called the Humane Society, who picked the cat up before Pastor Travis realized it was there.
The Humane Society said that the first part of next week (May 26 or so), it will bring back the cat and it will be neutered and have its shots for a year. They intend to let the cat run free.
Well, Pastor Travis doesn’t want a cat for himself and he doesn’t think another feral cat should be running around, so he is offering it to anyone who wants it.
The cat is a Russian Blue, from one to two years of age.
If you can give this cat a home, call Pastor Travis at (734) 699-6147 or (734) 740-1910 before the cat is delivered and he’ll make sure it’s in a cage and waiting for you.
