The Belleville Area Council for the Arts is calling all students entering first grade through high school to come to audition on Monday, July 20.
Missoula’s tour team arrives in our town in their red truck loaded with a set, lights, costumes, and props, everything it takes to put on a play…except the cast.
The team holds an open audition and casts local students to perform in the production and no experience is necessary.
The show is rehearsed throughout the week and two public performances are presented at the end of the week.
Last year, Missoula’s little red truck brought “The Jungle Book” and there were around 40 student participants.
This year, they’re bringing “Rapunzel.” This program is offered by the Belleville Area Council for the Arts and is no cost to parents or the students.
Audition is Monday, July 20, from 1 to 5 p.m. at the McBride Middle School cafeteria.
Those interested in participating, are invited to email BACA/Missoula at [email protected] with questions and/or we’ll put you on a reminder list. Reminder email will be sent out the first week of July.
