The Monroe and Wayne County Drain Commissioners and the Washtenaw County Water Resource Commissioner have been petitioned to perform improvements to the North Branch Big Swan Creek Intercounty Drain, which spans all three counties.
In Sumpter Township three road crossings on Willis Road will be replaced. The first Willis Road crossing, located approximately 1,500 feet west of Sumpter Road, is scheduled to be replaced beginning June 1. Detour signage will be installed.
