School Board honors K-12 students excelling in music program

The following students were honored by the Van Buren Public Schools Board of Education’s March 23 meeting for excelling in the K-12 music program this school year.
They are Griffin Behnke, AJ Smith, Cooper Mears, Austin Cook, Hayden Waldo, Eugene Johnson, Xander White, Ava Horchem, Nevaeh Iacovacci, Angelita Daniels, Namasa Amen-Ra, Bellamy Holzheuer, Parker Davenport, Syanna Ramirez, Hayden Dickerson-Lacey, Arthur Simmons III, Kameron Jackson, Isaiah Akins, and Avery Warner.
Those who could attend the school board meeting shook hands with board members, were photographed by family, and received certificates.
