Briana Hootman, clerk/treasurer of the city of Belleville, married Michael Papin on Sept. 13 in the conservatory on Belle Isle.
The couple lives in Canton. Papin, who retired as a police officer from the Van Buren Township Police Department and then worked for the city of Belleville PD, now is employed at Schoolcraft College.
