Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio, presented its Golden Bishop Awards on April 17 to recognize students for outstanding achievements in leadership and community service during the 2023-24 academic year.
Those honored at the event included Morgan Vaughn of Belleville.
Vaughn earned a Bridge Builder Award for exemplary service within and beyond the campus community. The award is for work as a Bishop Scholars Team Lead, tutoring children in grades K-8 in seven school districts to help them recover learning lost during the pandemic.
Founded in 1842, Ohio Wesleyan University is one of the nation’s liberal arts universities. Located in Delaware, Ohio, the private university offers more than 70 undergraduate majors and competes in 24 NCAA Division III varsity sports.
