HCMA moves metropark office to Huron Township site

After 70 years, the Huron Clinton Metroparks in this area have moved their park office.
The old park office was located at 17845 Savage Rd., Sumpter Township, in Lower Huron Metropark. Current plans call for the old park office to be demolished. They said the move occurred because the old park office had become too small for normal operations and required updates.
The new park office is located at 23200 S. Huron Rd., Huron Township, in Willow Metropark. The new park office serves Lower Huron, Willow and Oakwoods Metroparks. Services will not be interrupted as the move already occurred in late February.
The park office sells park passes and offers, among other things, rental information, and free park maps. The park office will also be home to the Metropark Police for Lower Huron, Willow, and Oakwoods.
