Van Buren Township’s annual Candy Loop to celebrate Halloween will run from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26, at Quirk Park behind the township hall at 46425 Tyler Rd.
Enjoy spooky family fun and sweet treats. A DJ will spin eerie Halloween music as participants visit various candy stops along the Quirk Park track at this free community event.
Also, on Saturday, Oct. 26, the Yankee Air Museum is inviting everyone to its free Halloween Party from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the museum located at 47884 D St. on the east side of Willow Run Airport. Come as you are or in costume. There will be face painting, live animals, hands-on fun with science, trick or treating and a candy drop from a helicopter around 1 p.m., weather permitting.
On Halloween, Thursday, Oct. 31, it’s trick or treating in downtown Belleville from 5 to 7 p.m., with a costume contest and special treats on the Fourth Street Square. The event is sponsored by Belleville Central Business Community.
Also, on Oct. 31, in Sumpter Township, the annual Halloween Trunk or Treat event at the fire hall at Sumpter and Kozma roads runs from 6 to 9 p.m. Candy, food, fun, courtesy of the fire fighters and volunteers.
