Nicole Lynn Briggs, 21, was due for her probable cause conference on Oct. 3 before 34th District Court Magistrate Lisa Martin on charges of carrying a concealed weapon, possession of narcotics, and felony firearm on Jan. 25 in Sumpter Township.
Briggs waived her preliminary exam and Magistrate Martin set her arraignment on the information at circuit court for Oct. 17. Briggs is free after posting bond of $5,000/10%.
Tristan Kavon-Guy Horn
Tristan Kavon-Guy Horn, 18, was due for her probable cause conference before Magistrate Martin on two charges of carrying a concealed weapon in Sumpter Township on Sept. 19.
She came before Magistrate Martin by video from the Wayne County Jail where she was being held on bond of $10,000/10%.
She is due for her arraignment on the information at circuit court on Oct. 10. Her case was referred to pretrial services to consider a reduction in bond. It was noted a month ago she was before Judge Brian A. Oakley on a charge of discharge of a firearm.
Her co-defendant, with one charge of carrying a concealed weapon, Errol William-Frank Jennings, 18, waived his preliminary exam before Judge Oakley on Sept. 26 and also is due for his arraignment on the information on Oct. 10 in circuit court. He is free after posting bond of $5,000/10%.
Peter Elmer Nickel
Peter Elmer Nickel, 57, was due for his probable cause conference before Magistrate Martin, but his retained attorney Michael Vincent asked for an adjournment of the conference until Oct. 10. Nickel is charged with operating while intoxicated-third on Aug. 12 in Van Buren Township. He is free wearing a tether after posting $10,000/10% bond.
David Deloy Dotson
Steve Scharg, the court-appointed attorney for David Deloy Dotson was not present and so Dotson’s probable cause conference was adjourned one week, until Oct. 10. The attorney reportedly was tied up in federal court.
Dotson, 35, is charged with possession of narcotics in VBT on March 26. He is free on $5,000 personal recognizance bond.
Deandre Brendan Wilson
De-Andre Brenda Wilson, 19, also had Steve Scharg as court-appointed attorney and Scharg was not present. Wilson’s probable cause conference was adjourned until Oct. 10.
Wilson is charged with fleeing police in a vehicle on Sept. 22 in downtown Belleville. He is free after posting bond of $5,000/10%.
