Belleville and Van Buren Township residents who would like to apply for assistance through the Goodfellows’ Christmas Food and Toy Distribution Program must do so in person at the Van Buren Township Police Department (46425 Tyler Road) before 4 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5.
Applications may be made at any time, day or night. All applicants must provide proof of residency (valid driver’s license, state ID, or current utility bill showing name and address) along with a completed form (available at the police department or at www.vanburen-mi.org) at the time of registration. Questions may be directed to Belleville/Van Buren Goodfellows Coordinator Pam Fleming at 734-699-8934 any weekday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
