The Belleville Area Museum would like to thank everyone who visited the museum for our 19th-Annual Quilt Show. Start getting your quilts together for next year, our BIG 20th Anniversary!
During the show we had guests vote for their favorite quilts, and the overwhelming winner is First Place: Marge Bergman.
In addition, Kay Atkins of Threads ‘n Treasures in Belleville, donated a prize basket for the avid quilter. The winner of this gift basket is: Kay Wurm from Tecumseh, MI. Congratulations to our winners and quilters!
A huge ‘Thank You’ goes out to the volunteer docents of the Western Wayne County Quilt Guild for guiding us through the month.
Stay tuned for more exciting events and activities at The BAM — Belleville Area Museum — including our Belleville Area Historical Society’s General Meeting on April 16 at 6 p.m. featuring Gerald Dodson and his presentation, “JFK: No Tomorrows.” Catered by the Bayou Grill.
Our newest exhibit will be on display in May, entitled, “Lake Life: The Creation and Recreation of Belleville Lake.” Students from the Belleville High School New Tech Ecology Club will be creating this exhibit.
