12 year old promoted to 3rd-Degree Black Belt

Matthew McFarlin, 12, of Dearborn, tested for and was promoted to 3rd-Degree Black Belt in Choi Kwang-Do on Nov. 12 at the Greca Martial Arts studio, 10665 Belleville Road, Van Buren Township.
Starting at age four, Matthew has spent most of his life in martial arts. He trained up to three sessions a week under Deputy Master Nick Wright and Senior Master Instructor Scott Greca, (the school owner and International Faculty Member.)
A member of The I Group Talent Agency in Southfield, Matthew will be in an upcoming MAGFORMERS commercial set to release this holiday season. He is the son of John and Arcelie McFarlin and attends Bryant Middle School.
