Three file for two city council seats; Conley, Miller file for mayor

Belleville City Clerk/Treasurer Lisa Long reports that five petitions have been turned in for the two open council seats and the one mayor’s position as of the 4 p.m., Tuesday deadline. These candidates will be on the Nov. 3 ballot.
Two Council seats:
• James Shrove, former councilman seeking return to council;
• Jack Loria, present councilman seeking reelection; and
• Tom Smith, present councilman seeking reelection.
Mayor:
• Kerreen Conley, present mayor seeking reelection; and
• Philip Miller, first-time city candidate.
