The bricks came tumbling down

On Sunday, Aug. 21, all the bricks fell off of a two-and-a-half story eastern wall of Harbour Club Apartments on Denton Road in Van Buren Township. The bricks crushed a carport, but damaged no vehicles and injured no people. Some of the residents speculate that the brick broke loose due to the vibration of the jets during that week end’s Air Show at nearby Willow Run Airport. The now bare wall faces the apartment complex’s golf course.
